UAB Softball Announces 2022 Schedule

BIRMINGHAM- Highlighted by several in-state matchups and big time conference games, the UAB softball has officially released its 2022 schedule.
-Schedule Preview-
The Blazers open the season on the road February 11-13 against UL and McNeese State in a tournament in Louisiana.
The following weekend, Feb. 18-20, The Blazers will host Toledo, North Dakota, and Murray State in the Blazer Classic.
After that, UAB will host the Blazer Invite February 25-27 versus IUPUI, North Alabama, and Austin Peay.
Later that week, the Blazers will travel to Tuscaloosa to take on Alabama on March 2.
That weekend, UAB will take host the Green and Gold Classic, taking on Longwood, Harvard, and Samford.
After that, The Blazers will begin Conference play versus FIU in Miami.
Following their trip to Miami, UAB will play five home games in a row versus Colgate, Marshall, and Alabama.
The weekend of March 25-27, The Blazers will be in Hattiesburg, Mississippi taking on Southern Miss.
A week later, Blazer softball will be in Norman, Oklahoma playing two games April 2, and April 3.
Wednesday, April 6, UAB will take on Samford at 6 p.m.
That weekend, The Blazers will play three games against Western Kentucky, April 8-10.
After that, UAB will host Georgia Tech on April 13, and UTSA in three games April 15-17.
The following weekend, The Blazers will travel to Ruston, Louisiana to take on LA Tech in three games.
Next up, UAB will play a trio of games versus North Texas April 29-May 1.
To end the regular season, The Blazers will play three games versus UTSA in El Paso May 6-8.
This year's Conference USA tournament will be held in Denton, Texas May 11-14.
