LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The UAB cross country team completed their 3rd 5k race of the season at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville. The Blazers finished in the top 10 teams in the race placing sixth in the competition.

Three Blazers finished Saturday morning's 5k competition within the top 30. Leading the way for UAB was Senior Agok Ayuen (12th, 18:42.80), followed by Laura Thompson (20th, 18:51.0) and Lauren Robinson (29th, 19:01.7).

Up next, UAB hosts its annual Blazer Classic at Veterans Park in Hoover. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
