UAB Women’s Soccer Travels to Middle Tennessee

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's soccer team hits the road Sunday afternoon to face Middle Tennessee. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. This match is not part of the Conference USA East/West crossover and will not be counted in the league standings.
UAB LATELY
UAB is coming off a 2-1 victory over RV North Texas on Friday. Laura Zemberyova set up both Lexxe Lipsey's and Morgan Halliwill's goals. The Blazers are tied for second place in C-USA West with nine points.
MIDDLE TENNESSEE LATELY
The Blue Raiders (8-5-1, 4-2-0 C-USA) are coming off a 2-0 victory over UTEP on Friday. Peyton DePriest and Kirstine Lykke each scored for Middle. Hannah Suder had a clean sheet with seven saves. MT is in third place in C-USA East with 12 points.
THE SERIES VS. MIDDLE TENNESSEE
Middle Tennessee has dominated the series, holding a 7-1-0 advantage. The lone Blazer win was in 2017. MT has won all four matches at Dean A. Hayes Track & Soccer Stadium.
COMMON OPPONENTS
The teams have five common opponents this season –Old Dominion, Rice, Samford, UTEP and WKU.
