Robillard’s 67 Leads UAB in Round Two at Bank of Tennessee

BIRMINGHAM – Senior Nick Robillard carded a five under 67 in the second round of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate to lead the Blazers at the Blackthorn Club on Monday afternoon.
Following his opening round 72, Robillard catapulted 29 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for ninth place with his 67. He enters Tuesday's final round at -5 overall and five shots off the individual lead.
Sophomore Khavish Varadan shot his second-consecutive 70 (-2) and is tied for 13th overall at -4. Varadan has now been under par in all five of his rounds so far this season.
Alfie Fox is tied for 32 overall following a 73 (+1) in round two. He is currently one under for the tournament after shooting a 70 (-2) in the first round.
Ethan Hagood (73-73, +2) sits in a tie for 56th, while John Snoddy shot a 77 (+5) in Monday's second round.
The Blazers (-8) are in 10th place entering Tuesday's final round. East Tennessee State is leading the field at -24 and is followed by Louisville (-22), Charlotte (-18), College of Charleston (-12) and Maryland (-11).
