Blazers Conclude Bob Pollock Invitational

Clemson, S.C. — The UAB track and field team finished competing in the Bob Pollock Invitational hosted by Clemson on Saturday afternoon.
The 4x400m team of Karri Green, Ebony Tolliver, Lovisa Skoglund and Lisa Petkov placed sixth with a time of 3:49.80, which was eighth all-time in program history. This was the best 4x400m time in four years for UAB.
The Blazers had a pair of Top 15 finishes, with Nia Hill tied for 12th in the high jump (1.6m) and Birthe Franck-Petersen placing 14th in the shot put (12.49m).
UAB is off until Feb. 12 when they participate in the Samford Invite at the Birmingham Crossplex. Click here for meet information.
The Blazers will remain in Birmingham for the 2021 Conference Championship on Feb. 20 and Feb. 21, also at the Birmingham Crossplex.
