RUSTON, La. - Junior Nick Robillard tied a collegiate career low with a five under 67 and is the leader in the clubhouse after the first round of the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate hosted by Louisiana Tech at Squire Creek Club.

Robillard carded an eagle, five birdies and two bogeys in his round and leads the field by one stroke entering Monday's second round. As a team, UAB (-4) sits in third place out of 12 and is two strokes behind Texas State (-6) and one stroke behind Arkansas Little Rock (-5).

William Walker III also had a solid round one outing with a two under 70 and is tied for sixth. Walker III shot even par on the front nine before registering three birdies and a bogey on the back.

Sophomore Ethan Hagood sits tied for 22nd with a one over 73, while in his first tournament playing for UAB, graduate transfer Drew Mathers carded a two over 74 and is currently tied for 28th.

Khavish Varadan and Ben Reichert (+5) are both tied for 52nd.
