BIRMINGHAM - The UAB men's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision to Belmont on Saturday afternoon at the UAB Tennis Courts.
The Blazers (2-7) fell behind early after the Bruins (9-3) won the doubles point.
UAB took victories on courts 3 and 4 with Nikola Puric winning in straight sets over Hendrik Inno 7-6, 6-0 and Nikolai Manchev battling back to win his match 0-6, 6-2, 7-6.
Sunday, the Blazers face Mississippi Valley State at 10 a.m. and again at 2 p.m.
