Blazers Sweep Mississippi Valley State in Sunday Doubleheader

ITTA BENA, Miss. Β - UAB's men's tennis team took a pair of victories from Mississippi Valley State on Sunday afternoon, winning each match 5-0.

MATCH ONE
The Blazers won the doubles point with 6-0 victories from Michal Lusovsky and Daniel Janko on court 1, Nikola Puric and Parker Bradbary on court 2 and Giovani Pasini and Chase Parker on court 3.

Singles play saw consecutive 6-0, 6-0 victories by Parker on court 6, Puric on court 2, Bradbary on court 5 and Lusovsky on court 1 to give the Green and Gold the team win.

MATCH TWO
The Blazers and Delta Devils went straight into singles play in the second match of the day, as UAB went up 1-0 quickly with a 6-0, 6-0 court 5 win by Parker. Janko and Puric followed with 6-0, 6-0 wins on courts 3 and 1, respectively. Bradbary recorded a 6-0, 6-0 victory on court 6 to clinch the match for UAB before Lusovsky notched the same score on court 2.

UAB has now won four of its last five matches going into the week of spring break.
