Blazers Travel North to Face Middle Tennessee

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB men's tennis team heads to Murfreesboro, Tenn. To take on Conference USA rival No. 31 Middle Tennessee on Friday, with first serve set for 1 p.m.

UAB (0-5, 0-1 C-USA) plays its second league match of the season against the Blue Raiders, a program that it holds a 14-11 all-time record against. Middle Tennessee (11-4, 0-0 C-USA) has won three straight in the series, with the Blazers' last win coming on Mar. 25, 2016 in Murfreesboro.

UAB looks to bounce back after a loss to in-state foe South Alabama, while Middle Tennessee tries to continue its winning after a victory against No. 44 Auburn.

Following Friday's match, the Blazers are back in action on Saturday as they take on Alabama A&M at George Ward Park in Birmingham.
