MOBILE, Ala. - The UAB men's tennis team fell to South Alabama, 6-1, in Mobile on Saturday afternoon in its fourth true road match of the season.
South Alabama claimed the doubles point with wins on court three and court one, taking the lead into singles play.
The Blazers (0-5, 0-1 C-USA) clamed its lone point of the match on a court six win by Tom el Safadi, 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 over Jordan Coutinho. South Alabama notched wins on courts 1-5 to won the match, 6-1.
UAB returns to action tomorrow for a match at Troy with first serve set for 2:30 p.m.
