Blazers Head to South Carolina for Match with Wofford

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB rifle team travels to Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday for a match with Wofford, the third match against the Terriers this season.
The Blazers sit atop the Southern Conference standings with a perfect 6-0 record in league play after defeating North Georgia in Murray, Ky. last weekend.
UAB has beaten Wofford twice already this season. The first meeting was on Sep. 28 in Statesboro, Ga., and the second was hosted by Wofford in Spartanburg.
The Blazers are coming off a two-match weekend at Murray State and UT-Martin in which Amy Kohan and Zoe Lum each set personal bests.
Following Saturday's match, the Green and Gold returns to the range on Feb. 22 for NCAA qualifiers in Charleston, S.C. before heading to the SoCon Championships Mar. 7-8.
