BIRMINGHAM - As the UAB football team gears up for its first scrimmage on Saturday, the Blazers held their sixth practice of fall camp Tuesday morning at the Football Operations Center.

- With the news that All-Conference cornerback Brontae Harris is out indefinitely with a foot injury, the battle for the starting CB positions have intensified throughout camp. A pair of sophomores in Starling Thomas V and CD Daniels are vying for those positions, while redshirt senior A.J. Brooks and true freshman Damien Miller have been impressive as well. Names such as Alondras Strong and Devordic Bynum are also in the mix.
