BIRMINGHAM, Ala.Β - UAB Football is set to host its Spring Showcase, presented by Legacy Community Federal Credit Union and AL.com, this Saturday, April 18, at Legacy Pavilion. Below are the key details for fans planning to attend.Β
EVENT INFORMATIONΒ
The Spring Showcase is free and open to the public. The event runs fromΒ 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with gates opening atΒ 9:30 a.m.Β
PARKINGΒ

Gates open at 9:30 a.m. Fans may enter through the back entrance by the outdoor practice field at the corner of University Blvd. and 11th Street.Β
FAMILY FUN ZONEΒ
The Family Fun Zone will open at 10 a.m. on the outdoor practice field and will be available throughout the event. Activities include inflatables and sponsor activations.Β
Giveaways will be available at the marketing table while supplies last.Β Fans will alsoΒ have the opportunity toΒ purchase or renew season tickets and Blazer Boosters memberships on site.Β
WHAT TO BRINGΒ
Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.Β Small coolers with drinks and snacks are permitted; large coolers are not allowed.Β
FOOD & MERCHANDISEΒ
Food vendors scheduled to be on site include Southern Snow Shaved Ice, Temper Coffee, Sons Pops,Β Zaxby'sΒ and Gus'sΒ World FamousΒ Fried Chicken, along with water stations for fans.Β The UAB Bookstore will also be on site with official Blazer gear.Β
SPRING SHOWCASE FORMATΒ
Landrum Roberts will emcee the event. Head Coach Alex Mortensen will welcome fans at 10 a.m., followed by the start of the scrimmage. A meet-and-greetΒ with the BlazersΒ will follow the scrimmage.Β
AROUND CAMPUSΒ
Fans are encouraged to continue their day on campus by supporting other Blazer teams. UAB Softball hosts UTSA at 1 p.m. at Mary Bowers Field.Β Fans canΒ purchaseΒ ticketsΒ here.Β

For media planning to attend, the full scrimmage will be open for viewing. Coach Mortensen will be available for interviews following the scrimmage, along with selectedΒ student-athletes.Β
