UAB Announces Basketball Fan Experience Enhancements

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics has announced fan experience enhancements for 2019-20 Blazer basketball games. Fans coming to Bartow Arena during the upcoming Blazer men's and women's basketball games are encouraged to take advantage of the following game day enhancements.
FAMILY FRIENDLY TICKET PRICING
The most affordable way to attend Blazer basketball games this season is by purchasing season tickets. Men's basketball season tickets include 18 home games with packages starting as low as $105.
Women's basketball season tickets can be secured by purchasing the 2019-20 Gold Card for $65. The Gold Card is an exclusive offer that grants fans admission into all women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, volleyball, baseball and softball events for the 2019-20 academic year. Fans who have secured a 2019-20 Gold Card now have the ability to sit courtside for women's basketball games on a first come, first served basis
MAGIC CITY MINI PLANS
The Magic City Mini Plan gives fans an affordable option to attend select men's basketball games this coming season. The Magic City Mini Plan is $44 and provides an upper level ticket to the Memphis, Alabama A&M, Montevallo and North Alabama games played at Bartow Arena.
The Magic City Mini Plan is also available for five select women's basketball games for $20. The Magic City Mini Plan can be purchased here and includes tickets to South Alabama, Auburn, UAH, Samford and Tuskegee.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO WITH CLUTCH! PARKING
Blazer Boosters members have access to priority parking on a season basis, and a 2019-20 season parking pass can be purchased for $50 by clicking here. Champion Club and AD Society members have access to valet parking along the 14th Street entrance of Bartow Arena. All-American members have access to park in Lot 24 in front of Bartow Arena, and Captain Level members are able to access the Cooper Green parking lot from 14th Street.
New in 2019-20 is parking for Green members giving to the Blazer Club Scholarship Fund at $250 or more. Green parking can be accessed in lot 26 from 13th Street near the UAB Collat School of Business. Season parking will also remain the same, on the corner of 6th Avenue and 13th Street, with the entrance to the lot off of 13th street. All parking lots will open an hour and a half prior to tip-off for all home games.
UAB is also implementing a cashless parking system for single game parking at UAB men's basketball home games. Fans can now pay ahead of time for parking using the Clutch! app. Clutch! is a game day parking app that helps sports fans reserve parking spaces near arenas and event venues. Fans looking for parking can search for available lots near the venue, reserve parking in advance, and pay through the Clutch! app. Fans without a reservation can gain access to these lots, by paying via credit card upon arrival. Single-game cost will be $5 for both Clutch! and upon arrival.
Single-game parking reservations for UAB men's basketball games are now available through Clutch! in Zone D-1 and Zone D-2 with the access to each lot from 13th Street. Apex Valet will manage parking logistics for each lot and will be equipped with the Clutch! point-of-sale system to process payments and track inventory in real-time.
HOSPITALITY ACCESS
Blazer Boosters members can purchase men's basketball season tickets in premier locations in Bartow Arena, and both individuals and corporations have the unique opportunity for men's basketball hospitality access. Access to the Green and Gold Room is $1,250 per seat annually to the Blazer Club Scholarship Fund in addition to the cost of season tickets. Fans with Green and Gold Room hospitality access can enjoy a catered meal, cash bar, and chalk talk with head coach Rob Ehsan prior to every regular season home game.
Champion Club level members have the opportunity to secure up to four seats with Champion Club access, including two courtside based on availability. Champion Club members receive a catered meal, valet parking and bar service.
Both the Green and Gold Room and Champion Club hospitality areas will open 90 minutes prior to tip-off and are available during halftime for snacks and beverages.
GROUP DISCOUNTS AND FAN EXPERIENCES AVAILABLE
UAB basketball group packages provide your family, friends, or co-workers an opportunity to save money while cheering on your Blazers. Groups of 20 or more can take advantage of a ticket discount and group seating. Special fan experiences for your group are available with a minimum purchase of 30 tickets to any home basketball game. Fan can purchase refillable souvenir soda cups - $5 for a 32oz. or $2.50 for 16 oz. – and have access to unlimited refills on fountain drinks with their souvenir cup for the duration of the game.
