Women’s Soccer Announces 2019 Spring Schedule

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's soccer team has released its 2019 spring schedule, head coach Erica Demers announced on Wednesday.
The schedule features six games over five dates including one match at BBVA Compass Field.
The Blazers open the spring schedule by traveling Kennesaw, Ga. to take on Kennesaw State on Feb. 23 before returning to Birmingham to host Alabama A&M on March 2.
UAB makes the cross-town trek to Samford to face off against the Bulldogs on March 22. It will be the second meeting between the squads in eight months, with UAB taking the regular season match, 2-0, on Aug. 26.
The Green and Gold then heads to Clarksville, Tenn. to play a doubleheader against host Austin Peay and Murray State on April 6. The spring schedule concludes with a road game at Columbus State on Apr. 13.
UAB is coming off a winning season which saw the team finish third in Conference USA. The Blazers completed the season with a 5-3 record at home and a 6-4 mark in C-USA play.
