UAB Falls Four Spots on Day Two at Badger Invitational

MADISON, Wisc. – The UAB men's golf team remains in the top half of the field at the Badger Invitational heading into tomrrow's final round of the three-day tournament, which is being held at University Ridge Golf Course.
The Blazers sit in the sixth position after posting a cumulative +8 on Monday.
"We'll see tomorrow how we play when facing adversity," said head coach Mike Wilson. "We had an inconsistent round today and need to focus on playing steady golf tomorrow to work our way back up to the top of the field."
Senior John Hayden, junior William Walker III and sophomore Nick Robillard posted the low rounds of the day for UAB, as all three shot even-par. The overall low round on Tuesday belonged to Dave Perkins of Illinois State (-7).
Illinois State leads the tournament at -4. Kansas sits in second place at -2, followed by Nevada (E), Iowa State (+1), Marquette (+8) and UAB (+11).
Hayden is tied for seventh place overall at -2 and Robillard sits in a tie for 12th at even-par. Walker III and Murray Naysmith are in locked in ties for 25th and 55th, respectively. Ethan Hagood rounds out the UAB contingency at +14. Iowa State's Lachlan Barker leads the field at -7 for the tournament.
