Snodgrass Named to Conference USA All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas – UAB women's golf senior Sydney Snodgrass has been named to the 2018 InTouch Credit Union Conference USA Women's Golf All-Academic Team as announced by the league office Friday afternoon.
This marks the second consecutive year that Snodgrass has been tabbed to the Academic All-American team.
"Wow, this is well deserved," head coach Kim Wilcox said. "Sydney has worked hard to get this award. She is the epitome of being a student-athlete and will do well in anything she does."
Snodgrass carries a 3.89 GPA and is slated to graduate at the end of this month with a degree in accounting from UAB's Collat School of Business. The Harrisville, W.Va., native is a four-time recipient of the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal and has been named to the Commissioner's Academic Honor roll every season since arriving on campus as a freshman.
On the course, Snodgrass has started in all nine of the Blazers' tournaments this season ranking second on the team in stroke average with a 77.5 mark. As a junior she was named Third-Team All-Conference and earned All-Tournament Honors at the C-USA Championship with a 69 (-3) in the second round.
UAB wraps up its 2017-18 season at the Conference USA Championship set for April 16-18 at the Verandah Club in Fort Myers, Fla.
