STATESBORO, Ga. – Led by R.J. Keur and William Walker III who both shot two under 70s, the UAB men's golf team collectively shot two under in the second round of the Schenkel Invitational on Saturday at Forest Hills Country Club.
The Blazers enter Sunday's final round in a tie for ninth place overall at -1 with Notre Dame and East Tennessee State.
"William, R.J. and Murray all had nice rounds," head coach Mike Wilson said. "We had a very solid front nine and just couldn't get anything going on the back. We have a great opportunity to move up tomorrow with a total team effort."

After a +3 yesterday, Walker III carded a -2 today and moved up 18 spots today into a tie for 40th place.
