UAB Football Bowl Game Tickets Available to Reserve

BIRMINGHAM – For a second-consecutive season, the UAB football team is going to the postseason and 2018 season ticket holders and Blazer Boosters members now have priority to reserve their tickets to the Blazers' bowl game.
The first-place Blazers earned bowl eligibility for the sixth time in program history with a 29-21 victory over North Texas and will be bowling for the third time ever. UAB has been bowl eligible in each of Coach Clark's first three seasons at the helm.
Season ticket holders can reserve their bowl tickets by clicking here. 2018 Blazer Boosters members who do not have season tickets may also reserve their bowl tickets by calling (205) 996-9969. The account will not be charged until a bowl destination is announced in early December.
Conference USA has nine bowl affiliations through the 2019 season, securing a minimum of six berths annually. Those bowls include:
Led by a dominating defense and a devastating rushing attack, the Blazers are off to their best start in school history at 7-1 overall and are in first place in Conference USA with a record of 5-0.
UAB has the nation's No. 5 ranked defense, and is tied for the national lead in sacks (31) and sacks per game (3.88). In five C-USA games, the Blazers have allowed just 35 total points.
The Blazers are the only team in the nation with multiple shutouts this season and have tallied a Conference USA record three total.
Along with the punishing defense, UAB boasts the league's No. 1 ranked rushing offense at 233.0 yards per game. Spencer Brown has 691 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. His 11 touchdowns are the sixth most in the FBS.
UAB owns the nation's fourth longest home winning streak at 10, and are a perfect 10-0 since returning to the playing field in 2017. The Blazers look to defend their home turf this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. when UAB hosts UTSA at Legion Field.
