BIRMINGHAM – Looking for its second win in Conference USA play, the UAB volleyball team came away victorious, beating UTEP in four sets (17-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-23) on Friday night in Bartow Arena.
Abby Carlile, Emily Rudolph and Victoria Young paced the offense with 12, 12 and 10 kills, respectively, while all hitting over .300 for the match. Since entering league play, Rudolph has posted 37 kills while hitting .338. Meanwhile, Young has 35 kills and is hitting at a .406 clip in C-USA action.
