Women’s Golf Completes Action at the Cardinal Cup

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The UAB women's golf team placed 14th at the Cardinal Cup hosted by the University of Louisville at the UofL Golf Club.
The Blazers were paced by Tia Teiniketo who finished tied for 27th place overall at +13 (76-77-76 = 229). Kendall Johnson also notched a top 50 finish at +18 and tied for 42nd overall.
Maria Donado (T56th) and Lexie Dawson (78) rounded out the UAB lineup, with Kenna Hughes withdrew from the tournament.
Illinois (-1) took home team honors and was led by Tristyn Nowlin who ran away with the title at -6 and won by six strokes.
The Blazers conclude the fall slate Nov. 2-4 in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico at the Battle at the Beach hosted by Baylor University.
