UAB Softball Hosts Blazer Bash

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB softball is hosting its annual Blazer Bash weekend on Sept. 15-16 to celebrate the start of the 2017-18 season.
Events for the weekend include a team meet and greet at the University Hill Center and the Green and Gold Alumni Game. The price for the banquet on Friday Sept. 15 is $25 per person and includes dinner and a t-shirt.
On Saturday Sept. 16, first pitch in the Green and Gold Alumni Game is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Mary Bowers Field. It will showcase the 2017-18 team against former Blazers.
Following the game, everyone is encouraged to join the softball team at Legion Field at 12:00 p.m. to enjoy the UAB vs. Coastal Carolina football game.
