Blazers Close Fall in Tampa

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB women's golf team wraps up its 2017 fall slate with a trip to Tampa, Fla. to compete in the USF Fall Invite.
UAB has been paced this season by junior Maria Donado who carries a team best 74.3 stroke average. Donado has two sub par rounds underneath her belt to go along with a tie for third finish at the USA Intercollegiate.
Joining Donado in Tampa is Sydney Snodgrass, Juliana Sebastian, Kayla Wilbourn and Kenna Hughes.
UAB will compete against a competitive field that includes USF, Georgetown, Towson, William & Mary, Lamar, FGCU, Stetson, Rollins, Lynn, Barry, McNeese State and Keiser.
The tournament is slated to run Oct. 30-31 at the TPC Tampa Bay with 36-holes being played Monday followed by the closing 18 on Tuesday.
