Blazers Look For Strong Performance At Conference Meet

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB cross country team heads down to Jackson, Miss. to run in the Conference USA Championships hosted by Southern Miss. The race will be held at Choctaw Trails with the women's 5k starting Saturday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m.

From The Coach's Desk:

"We're coming off a strong top 10 performance at the Crimson Classic and we are hoping to spring board that into a good run here at the conference meet," head coach Matt Esche said. "The girls are fresh and ready to go and it should be a good race, there is a lot of talent in the field."

Last Time at The Conference Tournament:

The Blazers finished seventh out of 13 team last season at the conference meet. The Green and Gold's top three runners all placed inside the top-30 last season and all three are back again this year.
