Blazers Drop Decision to UC Irvine

FULLERTON, Calif. – Noel Baham scored one goal and added two assists to lead UC Irvine to a 4-0 victory over the UAB women’s soccer team Sunday afternoon at the Cal State Fullerton Tournament from Titan Stadium.
Baham assisted on the first goal of the game when her pass allowed Jessica Miclat to put the Anteaters ahead with a goal in the 23rd minute. Baham gave UC Irvine a 2-0 edge just under nine minutes later after scoring on a rebound inside the UAB box.
Grayson Galbraith scored less than a minute into the second period to give UC Irvine a 3-0 lead, and Lili Andino capped the scoring with a goal in the 58th minute off assists from Baham and Kiana Palacios.
UAB (3-4-0) returns to action Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. when the Blazers travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn., to open Conference USA play against Middle Tennessee.
