Haley Wilson Named Women's Golf Assistant Coach

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to get an assistant coach," Wilcox said on the hire. "Haley will be great with the players and she was a great player herself. I believe with her help we can get to the next level."
The Fort Mitchell, Ala. native comes to Birmingham after a one-year stint as the assistant coach at Campbell University. Prior to Campbell, Wilson served two seasons at Point University from 2014-2015. At Point, she was the assistant coach her first season before being promoted to head coach in her second season on campus.
Wilson turned pro in 2012 and competed in the 2012 United States Open. She also played in the 2012 Tennessee Open where she finished third, and added a 12th place finish at the 2012 LPGA Texas Open. Wilson played collegiately for Auburn University from 2009-12. She was a member of three Southeastern Conference Championship teams (2009, 2011, and 2012), and was named to the 2009 All-SEC Freshman team. Wilson graduated from Auburn in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in communications.
