Blazers Sit in 10th After Two Rounds

MEMPHIS, Tenn.- The UAB women’s golf team shot rounds of 319 and 306 to sit in 10th place after day one of the Memphis Women’s Intercollegiate on Oct. 17 at Ridgeway Country Club.

Freshman Kenna Hughes sits in a tie for 10th overall after a firing a two-over 73 in the second round. She posted a 78 in round one.

Sydney Snodgrass carded rounds of 79 and 80 while Juliana Sebastian shot 81 during the morning round but came back in the afternoon with a seven-over 78 performance. Both Snodgrass and Sebastian are T47.

Rebecca Chandler shot an 85 in the first round but dropped 10 strokes to fire a 75 in round two and be in four-way tie for 52nd.

Kayla Wilbourn closed out the Blazer lineup with rounds of 81 and 80 to be tied for 56th.
