Women's Golf Treks to River Landing Classic

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- UAB's women's golf team hits the course for one final tune up before the upcoming Conference USA Championship, with play this weekend at the 2015 River Landing Classic in Wallace, N.C.
The two-day event will mark the final regular season tournament for seniors Margaret Yeh, Holly Robinson and Jesse Lawley.
The Blazers are coming off an 11th place finish at the UALR Women's Golf Classic two weeks ago. UAB has recorded a finish as high as sixth in the 2014-15 season. Three different Blazers have recorded top-five results, as Robinson most recently finished fifth in Arkansas.
This weekend's 54-hole tournament will take place at the River Landing Golf Course, a par-72, 6,082-yard layout on the banks of the Cape Fear River.
Saturday's two rounds will begin at 9 a.m. ET/8 a.m. CT. Sunday's final round is slated for an 8:45 a.m. ET/7:45 CT start.
Other teams in the tournament field include No. 88 Columbia, Delaware, No. 65 East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, James Madison, Navy, Old Dominion, Rutgers, Towson, William & Mary and tournament-host UNCW.
UAB will be grouped with East Carolina and Columbia and begin on holes 1-4 at the shotgun start Saturday morning. Live stats will be available at golfstatresults.com.
