Women's Golf Through Two Rounds At Bearcat Classic

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Margaret Yeh and Kayla Wilbourn led the UAB women's golf team on Saturday, as the Blazers fired a team score 319, improving to 13th place at the Bearcat Spring Classic.
Yeh, who shot an 84 on Friday, improved by six strokes to shoot a 6-over, 78, to put herself tied for 54th after 36 holes.
Wilbourn finished a stroke off Yeh with a 7-over, 79, also sitting at 18-over, 162 after two rounds. Rebecca Chandler dropped to an 81 on Saturday and sits in a tie for 30th entering Sunday.
Juliana Sebastian improved her opening round by one stroke for an 81 on Saturday, and Holly Robinson fired an 84 to round out UAB's field of five golfers.
As a group the Blazers still sit just six shots back of the top-10 going into the final round in 13th. Memphis leads the field of 17 by 14 strokes (298-304-602), while Memphis' Emily Goldenstein and Bradley's Danielle Lemek are tied atop the leaderboard at 1-over, 145 overall.
Sunday's final round will tee-off at 8 a.m. Sunday morning from the Mission Inn Resort Los Colinas.
