UAB Softball's Upcoming Trip to Woo Pig Classic Cancelled

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -Due to inclement weather expected to persist throughout the week in Fayetteville, Ark., the University of Arkansas has cancelled this weekend's Woo Pig Classic. It will not be made up.
Instead, the UAB softball team will travel this weekend to Orlando, Fla., to compete in the Citrus Classic 2 at the Disney Wide World of Sports.
Tournament play will begin for the Blazers on Friday, with a 7:45 a.m. CT matchup against Northern Iowa, followed by a 10 a.m. CT meeting with Towson. UAB will play two more on Saturday, meeting Miami (Ohio) at 12:15 p.m. CT and Western Illinois at 2:30 p.m. CT.
The Blazers will close tournament play with a rematch against Northern Iowa on Sunday, with first pitch slated for 10:15 a.m. CT.
