Robinson Leads UAB Women's Golf At USA Invitational

MOBILE, Ala. - Holly Robinson totaled a two round score of 161 to pace the UAB women's golf team in rounds one and two of the 13th Annual USA Women's Invitational Monday at the Azalea City Golf Course.
The Blazers shot a 325 in both rounds of Monday's action, totaling a 650 to place ninth entering Tuesday's final 18 holes.
Robinson posted scores of 80 and 81, totaling a 17-over, 161, to put herself in a tie for 27th going into Tuesday's final round.
Juliana Sebastian and Margaret Yeh both finished 18-over on the day to finish tied for 31st after 36 holes, firing an 81 in each of their two rounds.
Rebecca Chandler finished the day at 22-over after firing rounds of 84 and 82, while Kayla Wilbourn rounded out UAB's five golfers with a 25-over, 169.
Memphis paced the field of 11 teams with a 32-over, 608 (302-306), while UALR, WKU, South Alabama and ULM rounded out the top five.
The Blazers will close the tournament at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at the Azalea City Golf Course.
