UAB Track & Field Prepares for Samford Multi

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB track and field team will participate in the Samford Multi on Wednesday and Thursday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
The Blazers will compete behind a foursome of Shelby Barker, Hannah Hensley, Ali Meister and Jimmeshia Wilder. Each athlete has competed in multiple events this season.
"This meet is an opportunity for our multi athletes to compete," assistant track and field and multis coach Reava Potter said. "This group is very young, led by Shelby Barker, and I look forward to seeing where they are and how well they compete. I'm very excited to see how well they fare against some pretty good competition."
Following the Samford Multi, UAB will return to the Birmingham CrossPlex to host the UAB Vulcan Invite on Friday and the UAB Green and Gold Invite on Saturday.
