Softball Season Tickets On Sale

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Season tickets for the 2015 UAB softball season are now on sale. The Blazers will host 17 home contests this season, starting with Alabama on Feb. 17.
“The UAB Softball team is hoping to pack the stadium for the 2015 season,” said head coach Marla Townsend. “Your support means so much to our student-athletes as they compete with pride against some of the top teams in the country.”
Fans can purchase season tickets through the UAB online ticket office or by calling (205) 975-UAB1.
Season ticket prices are $30 for an individual or $75 for a family of four. Additional family members can be added for $10. Single-game tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 6-17.
“Having a strong home field advantage is important to our student athletes,” Townsend said. “We need you to make that happen.”
The Blazers open their slate at UAB Softball Field against the Crimson Tide for the sixth consecutive season. First pitch for the matchup on Feb. 17 is scheduled for 6 p.m. UAB’s season begins at the Plainsman Invite at Auburn University against Appalachian State on Feb. 6.
