Women's Golf Set For Bearcat Classic

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB women’s golf team returns to action on Monday for play at the TPC River’s Bend Bearcat Classic in Maineville, Ohio.
UAB will compete in the 54-hole tournament against 14 teams including Ball State, Bowling Green, Bradley, host Cincinnati, Dayton, EKU, Memphis, Morehead State, Murray State, Ohio, Southern Miss, Toledo, Wofford and Xavier.
Monday’s action is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. as UAB will tee-off from the 14th with Dayton and Ohio.
UAB is fresh off the Chris Banister Golf Classic a week ago, where the Blazers finished tied for sixth as a team. Freshman Sydney Snodgrass carded a fifth-place finish in the event and was named the Conference USA Women’s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday for her efforts.
