BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--The UAB softball team has announced that admission will be free for Sunday's series finale against East Carolina at the UAB Softball Field. The game will be televised by Fox Sports and have an 11 a.m. CT start time.

There will be free UAB Softball giveaways throughout the entire series, and fans are encouraged to wear green in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

First pitch for Saturday's doubleheader is at 1 p.m. CT.

Last week, the Blazers opened the C-USA schedule with a series sweep at UCF. Juniors Megan McGrath and Kristen McGrath and sophomore Heather Pearson each hit home runs en route to the three wins.
