BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- UAB softball head coach Marla Townsend announced Wednesday that four high school players have signed National Letters of Intent to suit up for the Blazers in 2012-13. Of the four players to commit to UAB, two are from Florida, and one from Georgia and New York, respectively.
The recruiting class includes Caitlin Attfield (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Wheatfield HS), Kelly Britt (Winter Haven, Fla./Lake Region HS), Ashley Johnson (Starke, Fla./Bradford HS) and Hannah McSwain (Monroe, Ga./George Walton Academy).
“We are very excited about signing these outstanding student-athletes and look forward to their arrival on the UAB campus,” Townsend said. “These ladies are dedicated in the classroom, on the field, and in their communities.”
