UAB Softball Opens New On-Campus Facility Tuesday Vs. Alabama

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB softball team will open its new on-campus softball facility on Tuesday against in-state foe Alabama at 6:30 p.m. CT. Gates will open at 5 p.m. CT.
With a large crowd anticipated, fans planning to attend the game at the new UAB Softball Field should take note of the following:
• No lawn chairs will be allowed in the stadium
• Limited seating is available and tickets will be sold as standing room only
• Those fans issued a commemorative ticket will be seated in bleachers behind home plate
• Additional seating will be provided in bleachers outside of the leftfield fence
• Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance due to limited space and sales may be cut off
• Fans are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early

Tickets will be $5 for those over 18 years of age, and $3 for children ages 6 to 17. Season passes for the 2010 season are also available for $30.
