UAB Softball To Hold Green & Gold Scrimmage Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB softball team will hold the Green & Gold softball scrimmage Saturday at 9 a.m. at the UAB Softball Field.
The Blazers will break in their new on-campus facility to prepare for the upcoming season. The newly-completed UAB Softball Field is located off of 11th Street South, adjacent to the UAB baseball field.
UAB opens its 2010 campaign Feb. 12-14 at the Mississippi State Bulldog Classic in Starkville, Miss. The Blazers open the tournament against Mississippi State on Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. CT.
UAB will officially open its new facility on Feb. 23 when the Blazers host in-state rival Alabama.
