UAB Softball To Hold Open Tryouts Sept. 1

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB softball team will be holding open tryouts for the 2009-10 season on Tuesday, Sept. 1. The tryouts will start at 2 p.m. on field #6 at George Ward Park.
All participants are encouraged to bring their own glove, bat and cleats if they own them.
George Ward Park is located at 331 16th Avenue South (Green Springs Highway), approximately one mile from the UAB campus.
If interested in trying out, please call assistant coach Beth Mullins at 205-532-2275 or email her at mullinsb@uab.edu prior to Sept. 1.
