Jaime Brabb Tabbed Scholar-Athlete Of The Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Sophomore women's golfer Jaime Brabb has been selected as the UAB Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Brabb carries an overall GPA of 3.33 as a health science major, and she was honored following her freshman season in 2007-08 as a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
On the golf course, Brabb has been one of the Blazers' top performers through her first year and a half of college golf. During the recent fall season, she posted a stroke average of 79.7 and was one of UAB's top three finishers in all four events. She posted her best result of the fall at the Towson Invitational, where she finished tied for sixth individually and helped the Blazers to third place as a team.
Brabb and the Blazers are now working toward the start of their spring season. The Blazers hit the course for the first time March 2 at the Lady Jaguar Invitational, hosted by South Alabama.
