Women's Golf Team At Wendy's Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB women's golf team will be in action Monday and Tuesday of this week as the Blazers travel to Charleston, S.C. to participate in the Wendy's Invitational.
The two-day event will be hosted by Charleston Southern University and will be played at the Coosaw Creek Country Club. The 15 teams entered in the tournament will play one round on Monday and conclude with the final round on Tuesday.
Head coach Kim Wilcox's UAB team will be joined in the field by host Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, Charleston, Memphis, Florida Gulf Coast, Armstrong, Presbyterian, Methodist, Winthrop, South Carolina State, Citadel, Carson-Newman, High Point and South Carolina-Beaufort.
UAB's last action was on Oct. 5-6 when the Blazers finished 16th at the USF Waterlefe Invitational at Bradenton, Fla. Junior Jaime Brabb was UAB's top finisher in the event as she placed 16th individually.
Play begins at 7:45 a.m. ET at the Wendy's Invitational. The Blazers will tee off at 8:30 a.m. and will be paired with High Point and South Carolina-Beaufort for Monday's opening round of play.
