Baseball Hosts Kennesaw State Monday Afternoon

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team will host Kennesaw State at 4 p.m. at Young Memorial Field on Monday. The game is a makeup of the contest scheduled for April 10. The Blazers will be looking to match their win total from last season with a victory Monday, while the Owls are looking to build on their 22-18 record.
The two teams met earlier this season for a three-game series at Kennesaw State that saw the Owls come away victorious in two of the three games.
Sophomore right-hander Kyle Roberson (0-2, 4.57 ERA) will start on the mound for the Blazers on Monday, while Kyle Clayton (3-1, 3.27 ERA) will take the hill for Kennesaw State.
After Monday's game, the Blazers will host fifth-ranked Rice for a three-game set this weekend beginning on Friday at 7 p.m. at Young Memorial Field.
