News and Notes:
- Sunday's 1-0 loss to Cincinnati marked UAB's first 1-0 game since falling at TCU on April 11, 2003
- At 10-8 in C-USA play, the Blazers find themselves in fifth place in the conference standings with 12 games remaining
- Four UAB outfielders have played perfect defense this season- Clint Toomey, Cole Helms, J.R. Bond and Levi Patmon have not committed a single error all year. The quartet have combined for 188 total chances in the outfield and are perfect through 40 games.
- Four Blazers have started all 40 games for UAB so far this season. Helms, Seth Rollin, Nathan McCorkle and Zac Ward have all been in the starting lineup every day in 2005.
