Day Two of Samford Intercollegiate Cancelled

CALERA, Ala. -- Day two of the third annual Applebee's/Up The Creek Samford Intercollegiate was cancelled on Tuesday due to inclement weather in the area. Campbell, Jacksonville State and Middle Tennessee State finished in first, second and third place, respectively.
The Blazers recorded a team score of 318, good for eighth place at the Timberline Golf Club.
Elizabeth Schweihs was the leading golfer for UAB, recording a 4-over 75. Brooke Mangan shot a 77 and tied for 15th place, Janey Deimling tied for 27th with a 79 while Lois Jones shot an 87 and tied for 74th.
The Blazers return to action April 4-6 when they play in the Lady Eagle Invitational in Hattiesburg, Miss.
