UAB Travels To Clemson For Tiger Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The UAB track and field team travels to Clemson, S.C. for its final meet before the Conference USA Championships. The Blazers will compete in the Tiger Invitational, hosted by Clemson University, on Saturday.
The Blazers hope to build off a successful showing at the Meyo Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame last weekend, where the team broke five school records, three freshman records and had nine top-10 finishes.
UAB will be competing against teams from Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Anderson College, Appalachian State, Berry, Brevard, Campbell, Charleston Southern, The Citatdel, Clayton State, Clemson, College of Charleston, Davidson, East Tennesee State, Edward Waters, Gardner-Webb, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State, Morris College, North Carolina A&T, North Florida, Oglethorpe, Samford, South Carolina State, UNC Wilmington, Voorhees, Western Carolina and Wofford.
The meet begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday and will conclude at 9:45 p.m. A complete schedule and results will be available on the Clemson website at www.clemsontigers.com.
