BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The unseasonably cold temperatures here on Sunday morning, forced the UAB women's tennis team to cancel its match with Denver scheduled for 10 a.m. The Blazers and Pioneers will not make up the event.

The match was to be the season opener for UAB, but the Blazers will start the 2005 season on Feb. 5 against Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Ark., at noon.
