Blazers To Host UAB Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB volleyball team will host the UAB Invitational Friday-Saturday at Bartow Arena. Friday, UAB will square off against Stephen F. Austin at 7 p.m. and Saturday, the Blazers will face in-state foe Alabama A&M at 1 p.m. and will close the tournament against Murray State at 7 p.m.
Alabama A&M and Murray State will open the tournament Friday at 4 p.m. The Bulldogs will also begin play Saturday as they square off against Stephen F. Austin at 10 a.m. Stephen F. Austin will also take on Murray State at 4 p.m. Saturday.
UAB (0-4) is coming off a 3-0 loss to Evansville last Saturday at the University of Evansville Invitational.
Tickets for each day of the tournament are $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 3-12, children 2 and under are admitted free and UAB students are admitted free with a valid student ID.
