Blazers Travel To Mississippi State Tuesday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team will travel to Starkville, Miss. to take on Mississippi State Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
UAB (14-9, 2-3 Conference USA) is coming off a 6-5 victory at Saint Louis last Saturday in game two of a Conference USA doubleheader. The Blazers lost the first game Saturday 8-6.
Mississippi State (14-8, 2-4 Southeastern Conference) is coming off a 14-3 loss at second-ranked LSU in SEC play last Sunday. LSU took two games out of the three-game set with the Bulldogs.
After Tuesday's game, the Blazers return home to Young Memorial Field to host Houston (9-17, 2-4 C-USA) in a three-game C-USA series Friday-Sunday. Friday, the teams meet at 7 p.m., Saturday's game begins at 2 p.m. and Sunday's first pitch is scheduled for noon.
