In an effort to help make your experience at the Blazers' game against Troy State as enjoyable as possible, we are providing the following information to assist fans with their game-day needs.
TICKETS: Tickets will be available at the UAB Athletic Ticket Office from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the day of the game. Ticket windows at Legion Field will open at 4:00 p.m.
GETTING TO LEGION FIELD: Consider some of the following options instead of the Arkadelphia Road exit off of I-20/59:

From the North (Nashville, Tenn./Huntsville, Ala.): Take I-65 South to Exit 260 (6th Avenue North). Turn right onto 6th Avenue North and travel approximately 1.8 miles to Center Street. From here you can either turn left and proceed to the next traffic light at Graymont Avenue (south end of the stadium), then turn right and travel approximately .3 miles to the stadium, or turn right onto Center Street and proceed to the next traffic light at 8th Avenue North (north end of the stadium), turn left and travel approximately .3 miles to the stadium.
From the South (Mobile, Ala./Montgomery, Ala.): Take I-65 North to Exit 260-B (3rd Avenue North). Go straight to the fourth traffic light and turn left onto 6th Avenue North (one way to your left). Travel approximately 1.9 miles to Center Street. From here you can either turn left and proceed to the next traffic light at Graymont Avenue (south end of the stadium), then turn right and travel approximately .3 miles to the stadium, or turn right onto Center Street and proceed to the next traffic light at 8th Avenue North (north end of the stadium), turn left and travel approximately .3 miles to the stadium.
From Downtown Birmingham: You can take 8th Avenue North from downtown directly to Legion Field (north end of the stadium).
PARKING: Parking lots at Legion Field will open at 2:00 p.m. on game day. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Student Parking is free (through Gate M only) for the first 250 student vehicles.
BLAZER VILLAGE: Blazer Village will be located on the north end of the stadium (outside Gate 17). There will be music, inflatables and snacks available for purchase. Blazer Village opens at 4:00 p.m. and remains open until just prior to kickoff.
PRE-GAME PEP RALLY: A pre-game pep rally will be held near Blazer Village on the north end of the stadium (outside Gate 17) beginning at 5:15 p.m.
GATES/PROHIBITED ITEMS/BAGS: All gates entering Legion Field will open at 4:30 p.m. Patrons are reminded that there are no pass outs once inside the stadium. In addition, no video cameras or coolers are allowed. All bags are subject to search by the Birmingham Police Department.
CONCESSIONS: All concession stands on the ground level will be open, including all stands under the East and West stands. Three stands will also be open on the concourse level on both the East and West side. In addition, there will be portable pizza, pretzel and shaved ice stands located throughout the stadium.
