BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB volleyball team will hold its annual "Public Practice" Monday, which will feature an inter-squad scrimmage from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Bartow Arena.

Fans will have a chance to meet the Blazers as the team and coaching staff will be autographing posters following the completion of the scrimmage.

Admission to the event is free.

UAB opens the season Aug. 29 against Virginia at 10 a.m. at the Tiger Classic hosted by LSU in Baton Rouge, La. The Blazers' home opener at Bartow Arena is set for Sept. 16 against Mississippi State at 7 p.m.
